I'm 20 years old and I'm located in Southern California. Like most of you I read The Game, wanting to see what I could do to acquire the natural confidence I'd seen in a few friends - I read it cover to cover and then read The Rules of the Game as well.
I've been studying this stuff for about five months - since last summer, when I got unceremoniously dumped by a girl who (I thought) loved me. *laughing*

Since then I've practiced what I can. I've only had sex with one girl in my life, and that was about two months after I started learning pickup techniques - so that's something anyway - no more virgin. However, almost all my other attempts have been pretty unsuccessful. Like most readers of The Game, I mostly use Neil Strauss' techniques.
I don't think I'm incapable of learning this stuff and getting good at it - I just need to find what I'm missing. I'm confident, and patient.

One of my passions (and I think this may help me in the long run) is acting - I've performed quite a few plays and I have some dramatic ability.

I'd like to start networking and getting to know some more experienced PUAs out there as soon as possible. Once I get a little more settled, I'd love to share more about myself - I think for now I'll explore the forum and hopefully ask some questions of my own.

Odd it's taken you so long to get a responce, there are quite a few people surfing this site... obviously not allot of californians!
Anyways, I'm from England but I'm thinking of coming over to southern cali for a while, was wondering where-abouts you are? We practice a whole different style of game over here so I wanted to come over to the states and give it a go... also wanna escape the cold, lol. Anyways, I could use a wingman when I get over there, and perhaps we can teach each other a bit as well.
