I've been reading a few of the books and lurking the forums about PUA. I'm not all that into being a PUA, I just want to be better with interacting with girls and people and general. Also, to have a better understanding of social interactions, and more self confidence.
Today I decided I would approach the first cute girl I saw. I was walking down the street and a cute girl was walking in the opposite direction. When we get close enough to see each other I smile and she smiles back. Then I start to say "hi" but she says hello first. I get really excited for a split second, then quickly realize that it is an old class mate that I used to talk to a lot.
So, at least I didn't get rejected, and I would have approached her no matter what. But it didn't exactly help with AA.
