Hello All,
I'm a student, age 19, at a well-known Institute of Technology up in New England... and I'm here to improve my social life. I'm succeeding for the most part in other aspects of my life, sweet summer internships opportunities to study abroad, working to ultimately get into grad school in the UK... It's all going fairly well except for this. I a frequent of the friend zone--I was raised by parents who grew up in the 50's to be a nice guy--all the gentle, sweet, compromisingnessosity you could ever want in a pushover. I'm trying to break free of that for sanity's and confidence's sake. I'm about 1/20 now with my old worldview and "techniques" with regard to women. It's about time to get laid hard.
On top of that, I've never really been well socialized--my quiet ways that ultimately changed for the better by way of performing arts in middle and high school have not improved enough. In a set of more than four or five people I freeze up and have absolutely nothing to say. I love one-on-one and if I could get there first before having to meet someone in a crowd I'd be fine but we all know that that's highly improbable.
On the same token, I don't know if this affects my avatar or anything but I'm black as well. Haha, on top of that I speak Chinese, am majoring in physics, dance Latin, swing/lindy, blues, play sax and piano and I have kind of hipster/indy tendencies.
So that's me in a nutshell.
