Hey dudes,

I am a 21 year old male from Portland. I read a bit of The Game a year ago (basically only the parts that tell you how to neg, show DHV, etc), and it helped me get my first girlfriend. I knew this girl since I was 14, but didn't talk to her until I was 16. Then we became best friends and at the age of 19, I got her to be mine.

Fast forward to a year later and 3 breakups/getting back together, I am single again and trying to move on. I actually finished reading all of The Game recently, and it totally changed my views on pick up (especially at the end chapter). I have been studying this for like 6-7 months. I have been reading a lot of material on this forum and other sites, watching PUA videos on youtube, and sharing ideas with a friend who is trying to do the same. Even though I know alot of technique, I am still very shy and not 100% confident in myself. I really just want to get to a level where I can say "fuck it" and go talk to whoever I want. At work its easy, cuz I have to talk to hot girls and cool guys. But in field, I just can't do it.

My goal is to get over my one-itis with my ex and try the Rules of the Game challange from Style. Hell I figure why not, its a start I guess. I need all the practice I can. But this site has been real helpful in learning new techniques to destroy AA and learning ways to open without the use of canned openers.

I have had success with online sarging by doing a myspace close with 3 girls, but never went to get a number or meet them in person. Internet game is easy, but still I would like to go infield.

Well thats my story. I guess its game on for me.
