I had progress to some extent but I did all with the "Fuck it" method as I call it. Just keep doing thing that won't work until I am irritated enough to get to that point and just do it. A friend pointed the whole PUA idea out to me a couple of days ago and I kinda can't get rid of the idea of utilizing some of options given. I know my brain goes blank when I have to talk even though I have enough stories to tell so I actually started to write them all up in the hopes of remembering them easier that way. Which I should have done alot sooner giving the results in stories. Normally I only use the main things which makes a conversation end very quickly (having trouble coming up with the English words so I'll do it this way). However when writing them up, my brain can think of elaborate ways of creating sentences to elongate the story and make it more compelling (at least that is my point of view).
I can only walk up to people when I notice something about them or genuinly have something to talk about. This is my big block that I haven't been able to tear down for over 2 years now. This is starting to get extremely frustrating because this block doesn't exist when the girl/group in question have a talkative energy around them from which I can take bits and pieces as my own fuel. The not being able to run a conversation really blocks up my entire mind leaving me with just one desire... running away Johny Bravo style.
So the reason I joined this board (at least I think that's the reason), is to try and find a way to build my own fuel tank full of energy so I can actually take control over the conversations I get in.
Note that this only is when I am going out to clubs. In daytime, when I am doing my thing (school, motorcycles, travelling) I have no trouble whatsoever to talk to talk to groups. I just cannot find a way to do this when I'm going out.
