Hey; I recently ended a 3 and a half year relationship with a jealous girl. During those 3 and a half years I was not allowed to talk to anyone else who shared the female parts my former girlfriend did. After getting fed up with it; we parted ways and here I am trying to get my game back. I have read a lot of books and listened to a few seminars (Mystery, David D, Neil Strauss) and am registering here as a complete noobie in the field.

During high school; I really had no problems with girls; I was kind of the "Class Clown" types. I always had no issues talking to girls, just going up and sparking a conversation. After this last relationship, I am different. I am 22 and she changed me. It's like I'm starting over from square one so this forum should be really beneficial. I find that I do have a little bit of shyness that I never remember having, but I find that if I use the 3 second rule I'm ok.

You described yourself as the "Class Clown", this screams Cocky Funny. Which is a good thing, seeing as this is probably your comfort area I would start to explore it a little more, field test it and see how it reflects you. And remember, one funny joke doesn't make a person funny, but a slew of funny jokes will change the idea of the "funny" into the person. The jokes will no longer be funny, but you yourself will be funny , and therefore fun.

But don't over do it
