Okay. Heres the rundown. Im 26. Born and raised in california. Raised in a devout catholic family. I am overweight, but i started working out and eating right for a few months now. And i've been told i'm not ugly.
My count is 0*. (*i think i got a BJ on my 21st. I was really wasted so it might have been a dream.)

I feel being brought up in a religious family and being overweight has left some serious voids in my life. Those being confidence and relationships with women. I have a really hard time saying hi or even asking for the time. I have female friends, but not one girlfriend. Also, most of the female friends i have are lesbians, which pretty much makes me a fag hag! My situation is pretty f*cked!

One of the things i picked up on right away from reading randomly on this forum is working on inner game and confidence. Thats pretty much the only motivation i have when i work out. Well, that and girls at the gym in tight clothes. :D

With that said, right now my biggest sticking point is too much information. I can read and memorize openers for a hundred different situations. But even before i approach a set everything rushes through my head and i go blank. Sometimes i forget what i'm doing in the first place!

Welcome to the forums Serenade.

You've come to the right place; and it seems with the right intentions too.

I had the same problem. I read and read and learned and memorized and organized all sorts of things. I spent so much time on the logistical and informational side of things that when I finally did go out to sarge, in hopes that I would be bringing everything I learned with me....I froze. Nothing, ZERO.

You have to find a balance between the two; using and knowing things, as well as being able to do them. Start from scratch. Forget everything you learned. Start off by just approaching and talking to as many people as possible. Don't worry about body language, or about how to determine if they are IOI'ing you. Just go be friendly. After a little while, you will begin to realize that no one is actually plotting your demise. You'll build confidence. Once you have inner game figured out, then you can begin to implement the things you learned and wanted to test out.
