Hey everyone,
I'd just like to start off by telling how I found this website. My friend got me 'The Game' for xmas of 2007 and it was just sitting around here until the other day I was looking for a good book to read when this book with gold edged pages was sticking out. I was like wtf is this? Picked it up and have been reading it for the past three or four days. I googled some stuff and found this website.

Now, a little about myself. I moved out of my house at 15 and have supported myself via online poker ever since. I've made approx $150,000 up to this point and am putting myself through college via online poker. I bought my first car with cash. I haven't talked to my dad since I was 7 yet he still lives with my mother and my siblings. I have always put poker and making money/sports ahead of my social life and it has really suffered for that reason. I am really into investing and business.

I am a college student in the Boston area. I am entering my junior year. I've had two very serious relationships one of which I was engaged. I have been single now for two years and am looking to improve my social life. I can't really pinpoint what major flaws I have but I am definitely socially 'different'. I can't approach anyone I don't know. I hate going places where I am not familiar. I'm not a huge party guy. I find myself to be boring sometimes and often times lack stuff to talk about. I will go out with friends and barely talk.

The funny thing is people would consider me to be near an alpha male. I workout a lot and would consider myself pretty good looking. I play basketball for my school and hang with the 'popular' kids. I just know I'm not socially where I want to be. My friends who know me well know I am a huge dork and what not. I am very confident at times and at other times I have little to no confidence. I become obsessed with things I'm into. Whether it's basketball or poker or school or whatever I put 100% focus and energy into becoming good at what I do. I don't know if I will post on here once or become a member who posts 100 times a day...it all depends on what I'm into at that moment in time.

Anyways, I've been browsing around and just reading a lot of posts and I really like what I've seen so far and look forward to being a part of this community.
