I've been lurking this site for about 2 weeks now. I was in a truly messed up place in my life for a seriously long time and was willing to reach for anything to find a way out. That's how I came across you guys.
When I saw some of the stuff on this site I thought to myself ,yeah right. Good luck trying that. But, what the hell, I cant get any less laid than I am right now. So, being the type of person who reads half the instructions and goes ahead and tries to put together my IKEA furniture. I just jumped right in and began blundering. Oh man, do I blunder! I started to have a blast, just getting blown out everywhere. It was crazy. I just wanted to get approaches in, that was the victory for me. The shut down didnt matter and besides a lot of them where truly entertaining! Then the shoe dropped.
Things started actually working. I couldnt figure out why so I started checking back here to see. I had actually started to do some things right. Namely, have fun, stay calm, be willing to walk away, be willing to make a move. Now, I'm not saying I've got this stuff figured out, I actually have zero clue as to what it is I'm doing. But, the difference in me in this short time is night and day. I really look forward to each and every day now. It seems so strange.
I probably would have never posted on this site, but. Tonight I closed a girl that I was in friend mode with forever. I'm talking even as a complete AFC I realized that nothing was ever going to happen with her. Shes really a step above the type of woman I would have ever even seen myself being with before. Now,it just seems natural. On top of that, there are a couple more stories than this one. There has definately got to be something to what you guys are doing. There is just no two ways around it.
So, I had to post and say thanks. I dont know if you guys appreciate it, but I feel that in some twisted way your helping to make peoples lives better. A lot better. Feeling contented I feel the urge to try to affect the world in a more positive manner. So it's a cycle you see...

i sure we have only seen the light coming through the crack and nothing more.. theres soo much more to be learned
