Hey everyone. I live in Toronto and I'm 17. I heard about PUA's from a friend and I didn't believe him because i didn't think that something like this would exist. But after talking to him for a while I thought this was the coolest thing in the world. He was talking to me about negs, openers, IOI, and such forth. So he ends up telling me to buy "The Game" which i am currently reading and I've read things that I never imagined possible. I'm interested in learning in becoming a PUA because I just get nervous and cant talk around girls who i don't know. I just don't know what to say and how to start. I think this would help me socially and become a much more confident person.

Do you think its to early at the age of 17 to start learning ?

Where do I start ? (which posts and so forth and in which direction.)

What can help me with my nervousness and shyness around girls ?

Thanxs for your help and its greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum, Gelz!

:)

your first question: Start learning the game whenever you are old enough to understand the commitment that it takes to master the game, and become a PUA. This probly doesnt apply to you, but its best to get serious about the game right after you get a car (for obvious reasons!). As for you: you already interested, why wait?

For your second and third questions:

Enjoy, play to learn, learn to win!

yeah man dont worry. Im 17 as well and am seen as a confident PUA. When you start you ALWAYS feel awkward and nervous. After your first 3 girls though, you begin to lose that and suddenly feel much more comfortable around people (not only chicks) becuase the game is all about social skills).

For the second question, I think the best place to start is at parties. Read all the information you want, but in the end of the day it all comes down to the use of all the information. "The Game" was the most helpful in my opinion. After that, use this site to advance those skills.

For the last question, the best thing to make you feel more comfortable is to do it. Lose the fear and gain the women. I think it is all about doing. When you do it for the first time, you learn to feel the good vibes.

Good luck.

I was 16 when I started and I'm doing well. You're definitely not too young.

After reading the game, I advice you to read Double Your Dating (by David DeAngelo), How to Be a Pickup Artist (or How to Meet and Connect with Women, both by Juggler) and The Mystery Method (by Mystery).

If you're shy and nervous, get more confident. In addition to the usefullness of not giving a shit about what people think of you and just having fun with your interactions ("The only mistakes we do, are the ones where we don't learn anything" - Ross Jeffries), confident people come off as more interesting and of higher value.

Tyler Durden has a great post about confident body language: http://www.bristollair.com/outer-game/t ... oints.html

Ross Jeffries has a great article about what mindsets you would want to have: http://www.seductiontuition.com/ross-je ... tudes.html
