Guys.. There's one problem I'd like you to help me with..

I live in London.. studying and working.. A few times I went sarging with some aspiring PUA'a from London (that I met on-line)..

The problem is I am not English (continental europe)..and It is kinda difficult to come across confidently while talking to a girl (bearing in mind she will ask me straight after - what did you say)..

If I started let say with... "Guys.. is the party over?.. If I wasn't a gay you'd be so mine"....... Straight after she or they would ask me what did you say!! It's because they are not ready to hear foreign accent so they need to tune in... and then it's just ridiculous to repeat the same stuff again..and certainly it wouldn't work......!

Shall I use some short openers that would be easy for them to understand or?? Even if after all I manage to memorize one opener and pronunce it clearly (it's still foreign accent) and I'd think it sounds silly and woudn't do me any good!!!

I am getting better with English accent but still EAR must be ready to hear foreign accent in order to understand it..but if she is ready it all just looses the charm (it's all about to say it quickly, confidently and clearly - then it works)...

On Sunday I approached a couple of girls in Hyde Parke..It turned out they were from Arizona, USA.. for the first 4 minutes they were asking me all the time WHAT DID YOU SAY.. It was a little better when they got used to me.. but then it's too late .......

What do you think (beside telling me - work on your pronunciation, cause it's not so easy) ?? Cheers.

Johnny

If they were from the US i'd have asked them to repeat themselves every time they asked you to!

Obviously (1) practice your English and (2) avoid loud places.

There's a lot of Eastern European girls around where I live, and they're never that difficult to understand, so although that may not necessarily be your problem, I think you need to make sure all other factors are accounted for.

Be sure to stick out your chest and project your voice - practice at home. Ensure you can't be considered quiet or do anything that would make you more difficult to understand.

Best thing is to talk slowly, and keep trying i guess. If you have the money, try a vocal coach or something like that.
