So I'm new to the community so I figured I would post here.

25 years old living in NYC. I first learned about pua after college. I dated a girl for about 5-6 months post - college and we broke up and then I soon realized the game was completely different then college where girls would hook up with you just because of your social status or because they knew of your reputation, same as it was back in high school. All of a sudden it came down to approaching chicks in bars and other stuff. I did pretty well usually working with the line of just going up to girls and starting my game with "hello."

I have been quite successful with girls growing up so talking to them never was a huge issue. I would get shot down a decent amount just walking up to girls but I never really cared. I definitly had anxiety about doing it sorta my friends and I just forced each other to go and you would just do it to not seem like a pussy in front of your freinds. Anyways I've always sorta known about the tease a girl (you guys call it neg I guess) and dont' ever let a girl know how much you like them and always be a challenge.

I started dating this girl about 2 years ago and we broke up about 3-4 months ago so I am currently single and again find myself re-learning and brushing up on the game. The break up was tough and I'm still getting over her. My goal has been to go out and hook up with as many girls as possible although with my work schedule I can't get out that much. I guess I've only hooked up with 6 girls since our break up and I'm sorta dating 2 of them now but even though they are really pretty, good successful jobs and have a lot of qualities I should like I still find myself missing the ex but anyways thats another story.

I finished reading The Game by styles and found these forums. I think areas that I would love to improve on would be more mid game stuff, I've never really thought of the entire getting to know the person and all these deep questions it seems you guys ask girls but I wanna give it a shot. Also I would really like to improve my listening abilities. I've always been a talker and slightly arrogant / confident but I think that I can make a more meaningful connection with a girl by being not just confident but also a good listener. Also it was one of the main problems in my relationship's failure, that and I was a little mean to her I guess. I love the opinion opener now its better then what I did and I've actually made a few new opinion openers myself. Anyways except for post-break-up I'm actually more of a relationship person. But after a break-up I think the best thing someone can do is cut communication and enjoy themself for a while and spend time with new people so that you can sorta avoid having to think about the lonely factor. Probably one of the main reasons majority of girls will rebound post-break up for 1-2 months.

One thing I found out was to never ask a girl an opinion about your outfit by the way. I was rocking a seer sucker suit the other day and asked a girl about it and then I completely froze when she teased me about it. This happened again with another girl lol.

I don't fully beleive in these routines either. I think a true player wouldn't need routines and I think they really restrict proper game but I guess its good to have some canned lines for situations like when I got locked up lol. Anyways excited about these forums. Gonna really be reading a lot in the mid game areas and I'll post my opnions and such too in other aspects I think I've done quite well in.
