I had a pick up the other night that was pretty weird, I thought it serves a nice example of things not fitting the standard pattern.

I was at a party at a friends place and the upstairs neighbors were also having people over. I went up and introduced myself around and quickly opened a guy/girl pair where the guy was pretty obviously gay. The girl was an 8.5 and pretty smart and interesting to talk to. I got her number and left, as I was leaving her friend mentioned they were hitting the bar later.

I got a text about what bar they were at a few hours later and I got my wing and headed out. After hanging and chatting for a few hours me and the girl left. Now here is where things get a little bizarre. You see before we left she made it clear that I was gonna take her home and not go to my place like I suggested. I was apathetic and a little tired so I didn't make a big deal out of it. As we pulled out of the parking lot she says "Are we going to your place or what?" So a little LMR, no big deal, we head on to my place.

Once we get there we started a 2.5 hour cycle that actually became really really annoying. We'd start doing something, she'd stop me, we'd talk and then we'd go further. It wasn't like I was pushing forward, after a while I was really tired and was totally ready to just say fuck it I'm going to sleep. It was almost a form of teasing, like when she knew I probably was about to quit, then she'd let me go forward. This continued until I eventually f-closed the deal around 4:30 am.

I've never experienced that kind of continual teasing resistance for such a long period of time. Any one else run into anything like this??

She was using push-pull on you

Although you made some moves right you made a few mistakes and she found loopholes in your game to fuck with.

Excellent point there, so you think I established attraction but let her set the frame? How would I go about breaking her frame at that late stage in the game? How does one get out of a push pull in that situation? It seems like its easier in the bar but once you get to the bedroom.....
