It's not hard to meet girls these days.
With things like Tinder, Plenty of Fish, eHarmony etc... you can talk to as many girls as you want, in seconds. I know it's not the same, but it's ok AS LONG AS YOU KEEP TAKING STEPS. Don't just think "Ah, I'll just use Tinder, then I won't have to worry about being able to talk to girls in person"
1. If you do that, you'll eventually BE in person with that girl, and you'll be even more nervous than you would if you were approaching her as a complete stranger - because you've now got a good impression to live up to.
2. You never know whats around the corner, or how the "perfect woman" (if you believe in that) will show up in your life. But the chances are that it'll be in person. If you're not feeling confident, you probably wont even notice her. Wouldn't you rather have put in the work, had a confident "swagger" for lack of a better word, about yourself, and effortlessly picked her up?
So yea, start small.
A friend of mine did pretty much the same thing back in 2011:
1. PoF account to just talk to random girls, until he realised that he was only a virgin because of his confidence.
2. Started smiling/saying hello to strangers while walking through the mall (he did this 3 times a week, to about 30 people) then when that got easy, he was making a point of talking to more strangers (not just hot women he wanted to fuck - he'd literally ask for advice from people who worked in every shop he went into, he'd talk to old couples, men, women, anybody... just until talking to strangers went from impossible to easy) one time he got a phone number out of it, started with a "Which one of these shirts would the best looking guy in *my city* wear?" and eventually got her number, but he ruined it all over text lol.
3. Started gaming in clubs and bla bla
I can't remember the steps inbetween, but he definitely came a long way. He used to say things like "I'll die a virgin. I really don't see how any girl will ever want me. I've got nothing to offer" whereas now his 2 ex girlfriends are fighting over him. He just spent a week bangin' the one, and the other wants to take him on holiday.
Most of this is stuff that you didn't need to know, and probably doesnt even apply, just rambling... on the off-chance that I nailed it.
Edit: His virginity was lost during the PoF stage, if you were wondering...
