| Hey guys,
Well as you can see I'm new here. I'm 22 years old and I just moved out to the east coast from the mid-west. I'm going to attend Columbia, UPenn, or Yale in the fall to study psychology (as a side note I'm still waiting on the Yale acceptance letter). I moved out about a month ago and am currently living with my uncle in a suburb of Philly. I just got out of a two year relationship that I had a lot invested in about four months ago. I have had issues with women all of my teen and adult life, and I thought I had found the one. Anyways I read the game in high school and tried out the techniques to no avail. About two weeks ago I was out at a bar, where my uncle dared me to go talk to two decent looking girls, needless to say I was petrified. I talked to them, but I got no where. Now I've decided that I'm tired of all of this. In a desperate and depressed state, I looked up to see if there was any science behind these techniques and I was surprised to find out that there was some empirical data supporting it. I've come to the point where I know that I need to make a change, and I'm ready to do it. It's time to get over my problems with women, and take the reins. My various problems are that I don't think that I'm good looking at all, small talk with women, extreme approach anxiety, and just general low confidence. Like I said I'm making the first step in over coming my fears by joining this community. I'm ready and willing to learn and will take all advice seriously, I know I have a long way to go before seeing the light, but I'm ready for the journey.
Sorry for the long winded post, but there you go, the short story of me. Also any reading material I should have please let me know currently I'm reading: Influence, Introducing NLP, The Art of Seduction, The Red Queen, and Men are From Mars, before moving onto: The Annihilation Method, Mystery Method, and Revelation.
