So far I've only been out a few times armed with pua knowledge and I have to agree with thoughs of you who say the pua is not dead but certain routines are. The first girl I gamed (well who let me game her) I used jealous girlfriend and the cube routine on her to great effect. The second girl the next night I try to open her with jealous girlfriend just turned her back and left. Now this could be for a few reasons but I took it to mean this stuff was to old.

So before I went out a third time I spent a few hours writing openers and routines based off my life and who I was. Effects? Amazing! When I use canned stuff it was robotic to me. Even through my postering and confidant smile I felt like a little robot repeating programmed lines. But by sticking to the method not the mystery I was able to project my honest self in a way that was appealing to other people.

I used to be the guy in the corner but the pick up arts gave me the knowledge to show the world who I am and that I'm not a loser, a creep, a weirdo. I'm great!! I just couldn't show it till now!


The pua is not dead! It's just evolving! It will live on though me and my generation of artists!!

To be honest I don't think canned routines ever worked that well. Even in "The Game" Strauss candidly acknowledges the limitations of those approaches. They were, and are, an effective crutch for guys who literally don't know what to say to women.

You are ALWAYS going to do better with your own personalized material. It just feels better and that comes across in your body language. Keep stuff which works and ditch stuff that doesn't, it isn't neuroscience.

Just remember, keep it positive, make the girl feel special, assert yourself and you won't go too far wrong. Results only come with time but they do come.

PUA dead? hahahaha, who said that? PUA is not some kind of fashion, its not a list of openers, PUAs always existed even if they weren't called that. Man's natural urge to connect with the opposite sex will always exist, a set of routines in some book might be obsolete but this doesn't have anything to do with the art of picking up itself, its like saying the car industry is dead because you see old cars around
