I've been reading for the last few days, and I think it's time to say hello. I was sent here by a friend who suggested it. I have found things very interesting. Although, my intention is not to bed every woman I meet, I do need to learn how to pick women up. I'm 40 years old, and I think it's about time that I learn that skill.

I talk to everybody, but I just I have serious difficulty actually asking a woman for her number, or out on a date. When it comes to that, I'm incredibly shy. Most of my girlfriends that I've had, I've met through other friends.

I'm from New Orleans, but have been living in Baton Rouge for the last 15 years. I'm not really into the club seen, but I do love to go listen to live music.

So, I'm here to learn, and I'm sure that I will.

Welcome, I am in your age demographic so I know where you're coming from. If you're normally open and easy going (talkative) in normal situations, then you will be able to overcome your fears (shyness) when talking to girls on a more intimate level. Keep an open mind as you read through the posts here, and remember not all advice is good advice so take it and meld it to your preferences...
