i've changed my name, as the old one (owen chambers) was meaningless, and through the experiences that the pua community has given me, i've gained a new name: jason.

this is because i use a hat that looks like jason mraz's. but the meaning comes from a deeper please.

when i started to get involved in the pua community, one of the first things i did was use the hat in public, as a symbol of not caring what people thought of me. wearing that hat in public is something i always felt silly doing, but doing so tought me a lot.

the first lesson is that people will only hate on the things you do if you are not 100% owning your decision, and that translates to everything you do. owning your every action will make the world bend arround you, and even though people may still say the same thing, like "dude wtf are you doing with that hat", the reaction will be radically different if you own that decision.

the second lesson is that people will get used to the new you, if you are firm in your desition and never hesitate. even though people usually react negatively to change, and try to maintain the way things were, if you instead of fighting with that, ignore it and continue firm in your decision, your changed will be accepted.
