Automation
I've been exploring ways automate the mundane tasks from online dating. Here's an initial set of steps:
- + Browse profiles
+ Identify pictures of girls I'm interested in (based on learning algorithms; it'll suck at first)
+ Send messages with simple templates (see [1])
+ Setup dates using the text message approach/coffee date approach Tim uses (see [2])
I envision this as a system that I check weekly: a list of pictures that I click "hot or not", simple tag cloud of interests, estimated writing level (filters idiots; see [4]), and sentiment calculator (filters emo girls; see [5]). Then I can click on the girls I'm interested in and it'll ask me which template to use and sends off the message.
At first, this will be completely manual and over time I'd like this to be as automated as possible. I'm thinking of starting with something that Tim does (see [2]) and improve over time. I like the competitive angle he uses.
Is this something you'd be interested in helping me explore, research, and build? Additionally, I'd like your help developing my offline/online game.
