I hope you guys can help. My girlfriend and I have been together for 7 months now. My only problem is it seems like she's wearing the trousers. how can i change the situation? we're currently in a long distance relationship. My intention is that if i'm more in charge of the situation then I will stick with her for ever, Im not here to negatively manipulate her but to give her a happier relationship and future.

About the whole long distance thing, my girlfriend of 4 years just broke up with me, the last 2 years were all long distance as I joined the Air Force and it made it difficult to sustain a relationship. To be quite honest, as much as I was in love with her, in the end, it just doesn't work, and if you did love her, you'd stay friends. It just doesn't ever pan out the way it should, and to really assert your dominance in the relationship, tell her straight up how you feel about her in your relationship.
