Hello PUA

I'm quite familiar with "game" but can't put it into practice. I'm on month 5 on the MPUA university but sadly I still don't have results. I guess my biggest weakness is my approach anxiety during the day and maybe basic game but still no results on nightclubs. Haven't gotten any dates or fclose for about three years now ever since I move here in Vancouver. Maybe because I always aim for 9-10 but I somehow managed to screw up all my chances. Another weakness I may have is my language maybe, English is my second language but somehow I get only 50% results on my social circle. I hope I can get help here with my approach anxiety and constructive help with my game.

Hey - welcome aboard. I'm new too but there seems to be plenty here to help with approach anxiety.

The main thing that helps seems to be the 3 second rule, as it forces you past the anxiety.

AA is something that most if not all of us experience. What it really comes down to is going out there and forcing yourself to approach over and over. In my case AA stemmed from my fear of rejection (i.e. the outcome), what I did to help with that is to approach without any expectation. I really didnt give a crap if I got the girl, I would walk away with a good laugh if nothing else. Turns out most girls are just as nervous as you are!

Maybe start with approaching/gaming people you already are forced to talk with in your daily life (cashiers, waitresses, bartenders, etc...).

Anxiety is something they don't teach you how to handle in school, and in fact,
can get a lot worse as the years go by
personally, i can say that as far as opening goes, a cheeky/ witty opener isnt always something you need and should never overthink

sure, it can help at times, but the best way i find, is to just talk to people casually
say hello, how are you etc.

from a nightgame perspective, the only reason why their out (women) is to have a good time and meeting new people is exciting and they wouldn't have put on all that make-up and look all pretty to not talk to new exciting people.

if they give off a bitch vibe, then fuck them. their low value and they weren't worth your time in the first place

There is a great blog called Approach Anxiety written by Eric Disco. I found that this was the most important obstacle to overcome in order to become successful. i.e. There is no way to practice the more advanced material without moving your feet and forcing yourself to get into sets.

I've also found that group outings are good way to stay motivated and accountable. My mentor and I are organizing some events in Vancouver in either late October or early November.
