Hi everyone.

I'm 22 and from Saskatchewan (it's in Canada, just north of North Dakota/Montana). Basically, the reason I joined this lounge is to help refine my game and in a much more general sense, improve my life. I'm fuckin pumped.

I only discovered the seduction community about 3 months ago but have quickly found a new favorite hobby - the art of pickup and seduction.

Before I talk about how I discovered the community I should talk about my personal experience with women prior to this discovery.

Unlike a lot of PUA I was never a total AFC. I had 7 lay's by 22 and never found talking to girls that hard. However, I was NOT a natural and the vast majority of women I interacted with wanted to be friends. When I did get laid, it was the definition of "getting lucky."

However, I have two real close friends who are absolute naturals (ironically, they are twin brothers - natural AMOG's). Watching them interact with women I simply assumed the art of attraction and seduction was a gift, and some guys were better than others. One of these twin brothers came across David DeAngelo's "Double Your Dating" and loved it. He invited about 10 of his closest friends to read the book (myself included) and 6 of us decided to read it and then meet and discuss it. This is where my path to the seduction community began, and having good buddies who are also interested speeds up your learning curve SIZABLY.

After Double Your Dating, we read Neil Strauss' infamous "The Game" and now I was armed with some basic truths about women (i.e. they are attracted to confidence and turned off by neediness) and realized I should start participating in the seduction community (hence the post) and keep improving.

Out of our 6 guys who started the journey together, 1 quit (pickup simply wasn't his style, whatever, not for everyone) and 2 quickly got GF's. Good for them, the girl's are cool and I'm rooting for my boys to get what they want out of pickup. I have personally done the most homework and done the most approaches and gotten the most results. The reason is essentially that I'm more interested in it and willing to try new shit so my learning curve isn't too steep.

Our first time sarging I was pretty nervous, but opened up 5-6 sets and got a kiss-close and number-close from a broad. I was jacked. The next night I went to a bar with unrelated friends and same thing, opened sets, and got another kiss-close and number-close. More confidence, and more belief that having game is a skill that you can refine. Now I have no problem opening sets, as I got over approach anxiety, and just need to work on refining my game, rather than overhauling my entire personality.

My goals are to improve my confidence with women to the point I feel totally natural at starting convo's with strangers on the street, at the mall, and anywhere I see a woman I'd like to talk to. My goal is not to get 1,000,000 lays and post about each conquest. I'm not 13 and don't have self-esteem issues where I simply want to fuck everything that moves to glorify my ego.

I also want to incorporate items from pickup in my entire life to improve my social interactions with everyone and be seen as a fun, confident dude who people want to hang out with. I feel pickup should be a hobby, and a balanced lifestyle is essential. I try to follow the Mystery Method and have found success, but I want to incorporate more inner game and body language and eventually want to completely eliminate canned openers and routines, but one step at a time.

Anyways, this post has been awful long for an intro but figured I should open up a bit before posting later.
