My name's Alex, 21 years old. I stumbled on the pick up world about 4 years ago. I had just graduated out of high school and my understanding of women basically came from bad romantic comedies. Needless to say, I failed with girls all the way through high school.

This world of pick up was eye opening and sounded exciting to me. But I lived in a tiny country town in Australia and practically had no way out at the time. I did manage to get a lot of girls interested in me over the internet, something I had never really been able to do before. But I don't have a driver's license so it was pretty hard to meet up with them, and when I did, I wasn't well practised and still ultimately failed.

Last year I finally moved out and got my own flat. With my new found independence I managed to get some of my first real experiences with girls, but not much. I had mostly forgotten about pick up by then, and it was just my new circumstances that got me with girls. But I was still living in a small town, and I wanted to expand my opportunities.

I moved to the capital city of my home state - Melbourne, Victoria. But on my going away party, I fell bad for a girl I knew. I should have known better, but emotions got the better of me. Recently I have been trying to move back to my old town to try my luck with her. But, perhaps luckily, she's moved on and gotten herself a boyfriend. Rather than moping about it, I've decided it's time to start getting into pick up again. I'm living in a big city full of people now, so I have no excuses! But most of my friends live in my old town, so I decided to come here for moral and intellectual support.

Hoping at least someone will not TL;DR my post! Looking forward to getting into this more and meeting new people.
