Hi everyone,

My name is Alex, but I've chosen to go by Ashryl on here, it's my gaming name and I couldn't really think of anything else.

I'm a 22 year old student at Nottingham Trent Uni studying Psychology and Sociology, with no natural game to speak of. I just seem to be friend zoned the whole time. I get nervous and over think everything I do when I'm around a hot girl. I'm here to totally change that. Just got out of a long term relationship and I want to learn how to be awesome, witty, funny and interesting. Basically like Style. Obviously that's a totally unrealistic goal, but they say aim high right?

I have started running to tone up, I plan to join a gym and work on my body. God that sounds stupid to say. The reason I'm telling you guys this is so you can have some idea of what I'm like to better help me, hopefully. I'm 5 ft 8 with a strong prescription which I can wear contacts for. Blond hair, blue eyes. Shit I dunno what else, I guess that's it. I have next to no experience actually picking up girls, I always used to build a relationship with them, using the fact that I could be the kind of guy they thought they wanted, to my advantage. That doesn't really work anymore, I'm more nervous, say the wrong thing, make it awkward or something like that. Going to do some research into pick up and game though. Any thoughts?

Have you read The Game? That's a great place to start and very entertaining. I'm guessing as you mentioned Style you have?

The main thing is to work out specific, small things you want to work on and improve. It can be overwhelming to have a huge, vague goal but if you break it down into chunks or certain weak spots e.g opening, closing, physical touch etc it can be easier to make improvements.

Also, work on your innner game hugely. And build an attractive lifestyle.

I have read it yeah, but I was in a relationship at the time (so why read it?) My friend said it was amazing, so I read it and it interested me. I was slightly disbelieving that it could actually work, but if so many people have tried it, theres got to be at least something there..

Thanks for the advice, I'm going to do The Newbie Challenge today, but in general I think I'm going to work on opening as in my mind i feel the most trepidation about that.

I'm sure in a few weeks I'll PM you Lockdown, about sarging.
