Hey guys!

new to this whole thing, just finished reading the game after a couple of my straight mates raved about it and realised i was a perfect wing for them. but this has led me to wonder whether it could work fora guy in...my line of work... if you get what i mean. what do you guys think?
the only thing I cant see working is peacocking, as gays usually dress outrageously so it would be nothing special to wear something unique or have a crazy hair style.

any opinions would be greatly recommended as i think this is a great way to improve my confidence in general as well as gt some notches haha!!

cheers,
cray

It's a very interesting question. I'm straight but I was wondering about this the other day when I was just pondering gender differences and social dynamics.

My thoughts is that it would operate in more or less the same way. That's simply because a lot of concepts employed in 'the game' operate on the principles that alpha males are attractive and charismatic. The trick is simply to develop methods to convey these attributes in specific environments (aka clubs/public gatherings). This applies to guys and to girls. A dominating, charismatic male will attract male and female friends/partners respectively. The difference is, if I encounter a very charismatic and interesting alpha male, I'm keen to impress and befriend him but I'm just not inclined to mate with him.

Long story short, get out there and try it. Field reports on this issue can only help other guys in your situation. I hope that's helpful in some way.

You're welcome. Like you say, there will be differences in things like pea cocking or last minute resistance perhaps, but the principles should remain the same.

I think, or at least hope, that a large majority of the PUA community is actually guys who are smarter than average and have a serious interest in social dynamics and psychology. As such, this simply poses an interesting question. Anyone who did react like that or felt threatened in some way, really wouldn't be worth the time of day.

Best of luck!
