The post subject "y0y0" is me in a nutshell, but for formality here is the skinny on myself.

>how you got into "the game": Ended a long, not so great relationship that I was in since HIGH SCHOOL! So, now I want to sort of taste test the women of the world.

>how long you've been studying and practicing pickup: Studying maybe 6 months, practicing not too consistently for 4 months so far. I'm at the point where I feel like I have a good base of knowledge but I am significantly lacking in actual practice. A few times per month I go out with friends to parties, night clubs, bars, etc. and get practice there, but only failures thus far.

>which pickup method(s) you like to use: I read lots about NLP and got the opportunity to practice NLP on other students during my last semester of college as well as my friends occasionally. I also use pace/lead/mirror frequently and regularly practice cold reading people when out and about to stay sharp on making assumptions. So I would say I like Ross Jeffries method, but I find Neil Strauss and Mystery's methods much more useful to me and I like them as well but am less studied on their respective methods. I also read lots into Braddock's social circle sort of game which was helpful in my last semester of college, however I do not frequently see the same people (maintain a big social circle) so much right now that I am out of college, more specifically girls are lacking in my social circle right now.

>what your hobbies/passions are: I train for swimming races, working toward qualifying for Olympic Trials. I also do some olympic weight lifting for cross training and am big into controlling my nutrition so I have a great looking body and keep myself lean/cut looking. I'm also passionate about high tech stuff as I am a mechanical engineer. I am passionate about becoming a great leader/manager perhaps owning my own company or becoming a CEO someday. So I have actually been practicing NLP outside of PU more so in the Business world as well which is why I lean more toward that method at this point.

>what your goals are: Train PUA as often as needed and continue learning until I can pickup nearly any girl I am interested in, especially girls that I am interested in that show IOI right away at first glance. Oh and get rid of my virginity with a decent girl to get the ball rolling. I'd also like to find a friend or some friends to go on this learning adventure with me to become a PUA, although my current friends do not seem all too interested perhaps I will convince one of them soon.

>and whatever back story you wish to share with us: Obviously I am a virgin. Had close call with one girl right after breaking up with ex. We did lots of oral and foreplay but no penetration and met up twice but she put up a constraint that she only has sex with boyfriends and I did not comply with that... Otherwise I've had a hand full of making out/kissing in night clubs and house parties but never anything more for whatever reason.

I also have done a good deal of text flirting, which is actually part of what got the 2nd round with the girl after my ex. I also had lined up perhaps a 2nd girl but she went away to a different school and we never hooked up again as school got busy. I still occasionally text girls I know fun banter to keep them thinking about me, so generally I'm decent at txt'ing I would say.

Overall I'm just looking to really get into becoming a PUA, training consistently and all so this seems like a great first step.
