I'm new myself, I've just gone through a lot of the threads on here and some are pretty indecipherable unless you know the lingo.

Read the TERMS OF IMPORTANCE thread which lists a lot of the lingo. Sorry I can't post links yet!

Also watch yad/yoshi videos on Youtube.
