i have an odd one. i have no problem hitting on and pulling a complete stranger, but when it comes to a girl i've known for a while, i get all blocked up and cant pull at all.

Nothing odd about this issue. If what you are saying is that you are attempting to f-close women you've known for a while this can be more difficult to wrap your head around. If they are you're friends then you've invested in them over time, so they have become less expendable. If they are simply in your social circle you may feel anxious about any potential social repercussions that could come from sleeping with them.

Either way if you have "no problem pulling strangers" why not stick to that? If you are looking for a relationship and are finding it difficult to convert these women into a more long term commitment that's a different problem.

One way to try to pull girls in your friend group is to be upfront about being a sexual being. Mention it if you see someone sexy and/or if you're with a HB on the side then don't hesitate to bring a few of these around the group so they see your value.
