Gday all,

Im not what id call a complete stranger to the game - im 18 years old and somehow with a mug as ugly as mine have managed to pull the occasional bird. However since moving from a small town in regional queensland australia to a big city, ive started to notice women alot more - rather picking up than having relationships (like i always did back home where there wasnt much better to do)

A little backstory then: I grew up all across australia, mainly in Adelaide and Regional Queensland; the benefit of this is that i still maintain a slight accent from Adelaide that seems to draw some attention in Queensland. Anyway, ive always had girlfriends through high school and after, from 15 years to 18 years and whilst i did go to schoolies week (a massive party week in Aus for school leavers) Had still only managed to rack up about 3 women by the time id moved towns to attend one of the biggest universities in the country.

Now upon moving here, i was still with a girlfriend trying the long distance thing, a month in and that wasnt working so we broke up. After that i gained myself a casual partner and got what i would say 'lazy' in the pickup game. Id sort of thing.. eh i cant be fucked trying to pick up tonight ill just go home and meet my friend instead - which got me into a bit of a rut. Dont get me wrong - im not what i would call a very unattractive guy. Im 6 foot tall, brown hair blue eyes with an unsatiable obsession with working out (which sparked from me being a fat little shit all through school / high school) but in my first 6 months of university, i only managed to bed 2 women - which considering we used to go out to nightclubs 4 nights a week is a dismal effort in my opinion.

Since then ive stopped seeing that particular friend, and i ordered (on a friends recommendation) The Game and Rules of the Game by Neil Stauss.
After reading the first chapter of the latter i was hooked on this so called 'art of seduction' so googled a few forums and this one came up.

Tonight i read through some of the openers techniques, most of them sounded pretty damn bogus to me - like theyd never work. Well tonight i went to a night club in brisbane and tried on 3 different sets of women (the last 2 myself and a friend were with for 2-3 hours) these techniques. I am absolutely amazed that the openers worked 3/3 - one of the groups of women which were 9 or 10/10's easily.

Heres where i think we went wrong tonight - my friend is as newbie as i am to this game so was just following my lead. I opened for us like a champ - did it with class and style. The 'middle game' as such was alright, chatted a bit, a little bit of dirty dancing on the D Floor later and then a return to our couch in the night club. Where it failed was - our ability to close. I feel like there is a 5-10 minute window in which something has to be done after that kind of intimacy while dancing in order to seal the deal, and we just missed that opportunity - leaving us with nothing more than a little lipstick on the cheek. At this point it was 4am and too late to start game again.

But i dont see the night as a failure - i am still gobsmacked at the way these techniques worked. I just need to learn a bit more about middle and closing - any tips greatly appreciated!

Anyway thats a little about me, i look forward to learning from this forum, making a few friends and hopefully in the long run contributing to young guys in my same situation.
