Why does he have to stop watching anime if he likes it? Do not change what you do not want to! Sure if you stay at home and just watch anime and read books it won't help... But if you go out on the field much to practise what you have read here or in some pickup related books and when you don't feel like you'd like to read material as it was already enough of mental masturbation and the weather is rainy or you're in a really bad mood it is totally okay to watch an anime. It won't hold you back to the slightest if you also take the time and effort to improve. Also, I can't count how many HBs I know who love animes. That's one nice convo topic if you get into one...
Yeah, I agree with MynameisFisher, I joked when I said it and the reason I said keep it a secret for now is because as you have seen on this forum, people who do not know you as a person will judge you for it...including many girls. They put anime in with video games etc etc

Yeah that's totally true. I play WoW sometimes with my friends because it's fun. I'm not addicted to it, I do not mess all my day in my mom's basement playing that shit but sometimes it IS fun. Now yes I don't really mention this to a girl or anyone who yet does not know me because of the understandable stereotypes around the game. But if they see I'm an outgoing fun person and then it comes around as a topic(if you asked how I could give you a quadrillion examples but I don't really want to waste time with that...) I just say "yeah sometimes me and my friends sit together to mess some time with it even if it's not my favourite hobby it can be entertaining in a reason"(note this is the absolute truth. I do not lie or smoothen things) They don't give a crap. They won't instantly turn around like I'm a freak or something. I'm still the outgoing fun person who also happens to like a videogame. Some people should remember that the game is not black and white. Just there is a place and a time for almost everything.

We all need to let go sometime maybe thats his way. Anyway my man welcome to the forum. I hope to see you grow to be the mPUA you want to be...and get your gf.

wow......i did not expect this to go that far.

First off,I like anime. I watch it sometimes and play video games. Newsflash to all those who havent guessed.....I am a massive geek. It is part of my personality and that is not going to change.

Second,i am not so stupid that I would use anything geek related in an opener or whatever unless it was established as something we have in common.

Third, when i said I want to be a MPUA, I said it because it is alot better than being a AFC.I know imk not even close to that level but I intend to work on it.I want to go out there and i want to get over whatever social anxiety I have when i have the opportunity to do so.

Thats all im going to say on this matter, anyone who has a problem with that...too bad.

Watching it sure is one thing... but your online identity as an anime character is a little overboard. Again, its kakashi's own life, but I would rather not be some cosplay character like I'm at comicon when I'm talking about getting girls. Again, personal opinion, and don't listen to me if you don't want to. Its what I believe would help.

Look at what I've done.....

I watched that shit in middle school before anyone I knew even had ever heard of it and then as all nice things in life go it got popular to the point that weird people ate that shit up like cat-nip so to be associated with it became ill-advised for someone looking to become an mPUA. We're all adults here and the people we practice material on are as well so at this point in our lives it doesn't really matter what we enjoy in our personal time. I was just busting kakashi's balls because I had a feeling that I was the only person here that would have understood his name and derived his interests from that.

I've got a bunch of personal interests that would elicit the same sort of response from people if not worse that I simply keep to myself because it just makes things easier, but I guess that could be seen as a shortcoming as a man for not knowing how to openly be myself with anyone and everyone without it mattering to people. However I do feel that some things should best be kept in the dark, but I nor any other man are qualified to say what those things are in another mans life.

Kakashi, you should go read The Mystery Method if you haven't already. I just read the first five chapters and it's one hell of a book from what I've read so far. It's like a science textbook about picking up women and being an overall better man....and it isn't bogged down with excess amounts of "self-help" type stuff...just the basic facts and how to get shit done right.

Right, my bad stepping in on the anime thing one last time. I just had a bad experience with that because I used to have kakashi's same hobbies/interests and it got me nowhere. However, here again Jimmy and I will have a dispute: how do you start? Personally, based on how well you can speak to people, I would suggest to just begin integrating yourself into mainstream society before you study up on material. Jimmy would tell you otherwise. But based on your intro, it seems its difficult for you to speak so try to speak and socialize a bit more before you start memorizing routines!
