I just got out of a long term relationship a few months ago. We were together for 3 years. In that time, she always had the upper-hand. She was really pretty and when we first met, she did have a sweet charm to her.

I on the other hand am average in terms of looks. She ALWAYS used that to her advantage. "You don't know how lucky you are to have me / Other guys would fight over me... You'll never find someone sweet like me" and so on......

She broke my confidence, I broke the relationship.
