just met a old friend that had put me in the friend zone for years, i decided to hit on her.
me: sup
her: hey bff
me: u got cuter.. look really gangster( with a smile)
her: (smile) thanks buddy, i miss you.. you should text me
me: lost my phone, (i give her my number) im getting a new one soon txt me
her: okay
me: wrong number :)
her:dork
me: im not giving you my number, cause ur being mean

she havent texted back, its been like 2 hours

Shit test partially failed... I'd have said somthing like "I'm quite busy nowadays but we'll see" keep her guessing mate. Don't be so easy

There was no need for this... If you agreed to give you her number you should have given your real one. This doesn't keep her guessing, this shows you are a....

Pulling away too far... She wasn't really mean, you were messing around you deserved this. I'd have said something like "Don't be so harsh honey you know I'm always fooling around" This also sets some frame to actually work with...

And don't really expect her to do so. If she does you should avoid this behaviour. You must find a balance between inconsistent and predictable. Mysterious is what you need. And don't apologise. That will only make things worse
Also... I don't think you should be wasting time with girls who friendzoned you because those are dead sets in 90% of the cases. There are many many other beautiful women out there ;)
