I am 36 and was exposed to PUA by a set of CD's and DVD's I happened upon in a used books, music and movies store I go to often. It was called Speed Seduction. It sparked my interest and I started researching online and found, Mystery, The Pick Up Artist on VH1 and this website. I have since watched Season 1 of VH1's PUA and I think I am gonna love learning and practicing this art.

I am not a total chump. I have had some hot girlfriends and broke a couple hearts but I have never really gone out and purposefully engaged with "sets" and selected targets. My relationships have all been basically something that came along and there was chemistry and we begin a relationship for however long.

I have been studying some material and lurking on this forum for a couple of weeks now. I have not actually practiced anything. I could really benefit from meeting a PUA w/experience that I could learn from in my area. I learn best from on the job training.

I am an HVAC / mech. tech and do Pyro and RC planes and helicopters as a hobby. I love going to the gym to vent and decompress and I am there 5 days a week. I am interested in getting competent and confident in the game and having fun and meeting as many fun and entertaining people as I can. I would like ultimately to be able to teach PUA to others as I know often the best way to learn is to teach. I look forward to interacting with you all on this forum. Thanks, Chas.

yeah season 2 of VH1's PUA is great too!

If you can take an afternoon off one weekend and go into new town and hit the coffee shops and streets, talking to all kinds of new folks you don't know, that would be a great start to quickly become comfortable approaching and talking to people.

You'll then have some momentum to go out on an evening and approach women easier as it will just be another person, rather than 'the one hot chick you dared approach' and you will have something to talk about too
