I'm a 24 year old entrepreneur/author/consultant from Iowa (though I've lived all over - from LA to Thailand).
Despite being good looking and a good athlete in high school, I wasn't ever really all that successful with women early on. I got stick in the "nice guy" role too often, and tried to rely on athleticism and other shallow traits to get girls. Didn't exactly work as they portray it to in the movies though...
After my freshman year of college (not getting laid, despite playing division 1 football) I decided to pick up The Game in late '06, early '07 and it changed my life. I've never really gotten into posting on any forums. I mostly just consumed the information recommended an put it to use.
I went from only having had sex with 2 girls at 18 to having had sex with quite a few. At a certain point you kind of lose count (probably under 100, over 60...not sure though). The most powerful aspect of the game for me though was NOT the ability to pick up women. It was the ability to talk, network, and public speak without being intimidated.
After a career ending injury ended my football career, I turned to entrepreneurship. My pickup skills got me far very quickly, and I was able to talk my way into numerous deals I never had any business getting with my lack of experience and size of my company at the time. That said, thanks to pickup and the skills and confidence I gained along the way, I've since become very successful and things are only looking up in the future.
Pickup methods....hmmm....I don't think I could claim to use just one school of thought really. I've read a million different ebooks, regular books, etc. and have quite a bit of field experience, and I've just kind of picked and chosen what sounded good in whatever situation. I never really was one for routines after a certain point, but I do use quite a few of the rules/models/techniques as necessary.
I'd say my biggest strength is text message game. My biggest weakness is LTRs.
My hobbies/passions: sports, working out, MMA (I have a decent pro record, have fought in Thailand, etc.), business, public speaking, making films (I also own a small production company), and partying.
One of my career goals is to get my own TV show on the Travel Channel. I've got my publicist and manager working on it now, and I'm confident that it'll happen within 3 years. However, my main life goals are to have a healthy and happy family with the woman of my dreams, a house with an amazing view, and to make a positive impact on every life I touch.
I've never really posted on any PUA forums before, but I've felt myself getting a bit rusty and breaking a few cardinal rules lately, so I'm in the process of re-reviewing some of my old ebooks and whatnot to brush up. While looking for new ones I found this community - and here I am
