I, as I assume many others did, found out about this whole idea of a PUA from Neil Strauss' 'The Game'. I would also assume that the majority of you have read the book, or at least have heard about it. More or less my entire understanding of the Pickup community comes from what I read in that book.

In any case, I don't want to sound like a kid who has totally the wrong idea. Are there any essential things I should know about the art of the pickup that the book didn't cover? Are there some things it got completely wrong?

That's more or less it. If anything, a point in the right direction would be nice. I'm not a total aspie, I had my own understanding of what makes girls tick long before I read The Game; A good half of the theories and techniques it presented I had figured out myself in my own wording. But yeah. Any advice for a noobie would be nice. Thanks y'all.
