All of the local gathering points are night clubs, which includes super loud music, how in the world do you hold a conversation with that in the background?

Taker her outside?
Yell?
Just dance like the rest of them?

You should try to find somewhere where you can sit down which is fairly quiet or find a comfy place to stand.. There are a few threads on dancefloor gaming which you could check out..

Im no expert though so keep that in mind

Take her to the quiet part of the room, which in many cases the smoking area or near the bathroom, the bar away from the sound system, thats if you can get her away from the dance floor. you can also use the noise as an advantage, by having her get closer to you to talk. instead of you leaning in to talk to her, rock back alittle and have her come towards you.

Personally I don't bother trying to talk too much. Here and there a bit but when you think of it there isn't really a great place. The clubs in Chicago usually have multiple rooms with massive banging systems. Every inch of the club gets flooded with sound because just about anywhere you stand or sit will more likely than not be next to a room with a DJ in it.

For me it's all about just getting into it and dancing. If you wanna talk to a girl, you don't go to a club it's just not the place to hold a conversation comfortably. Learn how to dance well enough and work magic from there. Last few times I was at a club I pulled a girl and spent the night basically banging her on the dance floor.
