Hi guys,

I'm 30 years old in Phoenix Arizona. I usually hang out in the east valley or downtown. I get some closes but my friends are settling down or leaving town. Less parties where I have social proof and some relationship with people I meet. I have to work more on stranger HBs as a result.

I got into the game after reading a post in another forum about Style's book. I bought it thinking I'd leisurely read it and instead it was an intense 2 days of reading and re-reading chapters. I figured this guy must look like brad pitt or have a warped perspective on a HB10. When I saw video of Style and what he could do I was blown away. I downloaded the VH-1 show and while it was interesting it didn't give me enough. MM was much better with good hints and taught me some things.

I've been practicing pick-up the past year with some success but reading "the game" 3 months ago gave my game structure and made me more hungry for success. I've been working on improving by taking a standup comedy class (thank you smoke for the idea), gone back to the gym after 3 years off, and took some salsa lessons (still got to master those basics). I've started using negs which can really help keep a conversation going but I need to calibrate better on opening with them as they dangerous to field so soon. MM churns in the back of my mind when I'm with a girl. Compliance test, isolate etc and it keeps things on track. It's also taught me that I peck during A3 and I need to work on this. I'm working on Jdogs material now and then maybe David D.

I've sarged by myself (feels weird being in a bar alone but approaching alone is fine) which forces me to open someone quickly. I've sarged with wings, some good and we support each other, some bad (Good wings can really make a night perform and good wings are hard to find). I've day sarged the beach in LA several times and I've gotten number closes, similarly Vegas and other random cities but night sarging Tempe and Scottsdale is just not as easy. I opened 5 sets last night and only one hooked and it was a soft hook, though one of the girls did put my hand on her really tight ass.

Some days go awesome and I feel unstoppable, other days nothing works and I feel like a total AFC. Writing this has made me analyze my game rather than just the outcomes. Last night I opened a mixed 2 set, HB8 who looked 9 until i saw the nose, and guy who turned out to be her cool gay co-worker. Thank you "how do you guys know each other". I just ploughed on when with the clock ticking I should have looked to bring in anyone as a pivot (my wing flaked after drinking excessively) so I could get uninterrupted time with HB. I now understand why you guys write field reports.
