I'm a 22 year old personal trainer/ exercise physiologist. I'm originally from Britain. I'll give a background to myself, it's nothing new or different to a lot of people.

I've always had trouble speaking to girls, particulary the hot ones. This is frustrating as hell as I can talk to the ugly ones no problem. However, with the hot ones I always stumble and faceplant.

This stayed the same throughout my teenage years. I went to university and for the 1st two years I had the same girlfriend I had always had since I was 15yrs old. I was comfortable in that situation as I lacked confidence to find anything else. Comfortable...but not particulary happy. Two of my friends took me to stockholm for a weekend and a girl started hitting on me...I'm ashammed to say she did all the work and I did no approach or anything to close.

Being the 'good guy' I didn't want to do anything and left it with details exchanged...got home and finally plucked up the courage to finish with my girlfriend. A month later the swedish girl flew over for a weekend and we shagged...only once! and it was substandard to be quite honest.

During the summer, I went around europe on my motorcycle and on my own. I think I made a lot more progress during this time. My goal was to get a shag from every country. I completely blew it and whilst I got a kiss from every country, I didn't manage to close. However, except when my motorcycle broke down in sweden and a swedish girl let me stay at her place in return for sexual favours....that is by far the highlight of my pulling career.

Returned home for my last year of university, full of confidence and got settled down straight away with an attractive blonde english girl. At the end of university it all fell apart. Left the UK and returned to Sweden. Learned the language and got a very nice job!

As far as your nervousness, just talk to the hot ones like they're ugly. You have to see past how hot they are, but I know from experience it's easier said than done.

Yeah, it's definitely hard when a stunning girl is right in front of you. Hard to think their ugly and not choke...got to start somewhere though.

The best place to start is just to get comfortable talking to everyone in a social environment WITHOUT thinking about getting laid/dates/numbers etc. Basically go out a few times and rather than think "I want to meet girls" think "I just want to have a good time" and talk to EVERYONE. Ugly, pretty, in-between just talk to all of them. Talk to other guys too, but that should be easy.

You dont need to try and game the girls this early since you have the same problem that I have (For me it was talking to any new people, my approach anxiety was terrible before I discovered this PUA stuff) so once you kill that you're golden.

This is of course what worked for me, but I just thought I'd throw it out there to see if it helps you too.

I mean, you're in Sweden, you have a job that girls find attractive, you're in Sweden, you seem like a cool guy, and did I mention you're in f**king Sweden?

Since I last posted, I went to a student party in Sthlm...to be honest the standard of girls wasn't particularly high but thought I would try and iniatate what I had learn't simply from the book 'the game'...mistake number 1: Don't copy and paste material from well known books. I got a few sets in...was doing quite well until I did a 'best friends test' on two girls. Immidiately one of them recognised what was going on.
'Fuck!' I thought, although I knew it was probable that eventually someone would catch on if my game didn't seem fluent enough, kinda got out of it by talking by defending it and proposing that is was an interesting psychological thing but lacked the skills to draw back any lost creditbility...not a big thing..but was quite funny.

Out in the UK for a few nights this weekend, think I'll just take your advice to begin with...start small and get comfortable meeting people just for the sake of having a good time!
