Hey guys, I'll just go ahead and introduce myself. I'm a college grad student, 22 years old and newly single. I dated a girl from when I was 17 years old until last April, and was completely raw and new to picking up girls at all after my breakup. By complete coincidence right after my breakup, a coworker recommended Strauss' book The Game, and since I've read it, I've been completely hooked to pickup. I've since read almost every book referenced by Style since, including almost everything Diangelo and Mystery's The Mystery Method book. I was lucky from the start, because although I didn't have any skill when it came to purely picking up girls before as I never developed it in early adulthood due to being in a long term relationship during those years, I've never been nervous or apprehensive towards speaking to women or starting conversations with strangers (an acquired skill, I think, from being forced to constantly talk to new tables when serving and new guests when bartending, two jobs I worked for three years).

I go out and try material at least 3 nights a week every week, and often bring a single dedicated wing that is enthusiastic about this material as well. I failed a lot when I first really started going about this in May--getting shot down left and right--but I have learned a lot from my mistakes and I've been absorbing knowledge from books and the community non-stop.

I plan on keeping pretty detailed field reports (that I will post a link to here) and share with you guys the failures and successes I've had in the past couple of months, and I'm excited about the prospect of discussing pickup with you guys!
