Hey there, I am a 20 year old student from Telford in England. I play music in a band as well as being a horror movie fanatic.

After loaning a copy of "The Game" by Neil Strauss from a friend, myself and said friend have decided to transcend from AFC's to PUA's.

This Saturday will be our first night out trying the Mystery Method in a popular local bar. We have always been social people, but our chances with women have had their ups and downs... Now, we are ready to try our hand as PUA's.

Good luck on Saturday night. I'm eager to hear how the MM works out for you.

Being new you may struggle with it at first or even just reject it after a while.

I can't say I'm a fan of MM or any other canned/rehearsed type of style. It's not who I am, and unless you're a passionate entertainer/magician/con artist it won't be who you are either.

Thanks Anytime, I already have a scenario/routine played out for myself for when I approach a two set if you'd like to hear it.

My friend has pages of openers and he's going to ad lib once the conversation's going.

We've got a lot to use to DHV each other to girls, so we're pretty well planned out.

We're just going to under the radar and win over the target's friends before isolation, we want to keep it fairly simple while we're new to it.

I've tried my hand at MM, and it's good...I mean, it works, but IMO, like anytime said, it doesn't allow for as much personal expression. That being said, it does get results, so as a tip, I try to use MM for guidelines, but integrate it with some honest personal expression. I used canned openers sometimes, but try to stack to original material based on what I see at the moment.

Try Ratisse's method of owning a room too. That's my favorite method, and the best part is, you can use it in conjunction with MM too! There's a GREAT video where he explains it, found on the21convention dot com (I can't post URLS, hence "dot com" being spelled out). On the home page just click "click here to get started" and then go to the second page of vids. You'll find Ratisse there. That video is gold.

I'm gonna use MM to open a set and let some more of me come out to establish the connection afer isolation.
