Hi

I'm 17 years old. I want to turn my whole life around. I'm currently in high school and a huge social outcast. I'm very awkward and introverted. I seriously don't have ANY friends. I would really like to, and I've tried, but others just turn their attention away from me. This whole year I've been an extremely quiet kid who has lost all his confidence to speak. My body language is also very poor. When everybody in class is socializing, I'm sitting in my desk in the corner all by myself.

I really want to end this life of loneliness and my severe social anxiety. I'm tired of having no luck with women..I've talked to a few in my classes but they laugh at me because they can see how socially awkward I am. I have been told by others that I am a good looking guy.. The problem is...I just don't know how to talk.

This has seriously led me to contemplate over my life. After seeing how lives have changed in the game, I would really like to be a part of this lifestyle.

Where is a good place for me to start?
How can I get over my social anxiety?

Has anyone been in the same situation I am in right now? It can really help to see some solutions for my problems from somebody who knows how and has gotten over this obstacle in his life.

Thanks

U remind me of me back in hs. I wasn't so anti social but u was very shy. First thing in over comin it, ask urself...what's holdin u back, why r u so anti social? Basically first identify where ur main prob or concern comes frm, after u figure that out, we can take it frm there

Dont worry man i was in the same situation im 16 but my last two years i was shy and awkward. What worked for me is adopting a more self centered attitude but in a healthy way. When your interacting always think your better than the person your talking too but then again show respect and be friendly. The self centered mentality will get rid of your shyness. Observe the popular kids in your grade and watch what they do how they talk and act and try to imitate it. Study something called the law of attraction it will boost your confidence. Hope to hear from u - Andrew

Try and see the positives in yourself, I'm sure there must be some; you seem like an intelligent guy and your post doesn't seem too awkward or anything. If you are good-looking take confidence in that, but bear in mind it actually matters very little, it is more the case that guys who are good-looking tend to be confident and it is in fact this that helps them.
I read somewhere that for body language working out is good and it will also reduce your stress and maybe some of your anxiety. It works for me although I can't claim to share your problems. But know this; all of us have anxieties, confidence is just the ability to believe in yourself and overcome these. As Churchill said 'Courage is rightly esteemed the first of human qualities... because it is the quality which guarantees all others.' I appreciate it is easy for me to say have courage, have confidence, and take risks but there will be a time in your life when you have a choice and you need to stand up and be a man.
To get some friends join some clubs which interest you, you will become friendly with people who share your interests. Enjoy yourself at these clubs doing something you enjoy. Put yourself out there! Meet people! Be excited to meet people. Try and have some fun in your life; get some interesting life experiences to give you things to talk about and make yourself more interesting. There is nothing more attractive than having fun.
Its a lot to take in, it won't be particularly easy but the best things in life aren't! I'm no expert but I hope this helps. I wouldn't recommend doing anything too radical in terms of women, just try and talk to as many as you can to become comfortable if you get to the stage where you believe in yourself. Feel free to contact me and update me with your progress; I'm sure you will succeed!
