here's the deal guys;i'm working to become a more confident and outgoing guy that doesn't make the common mistakes of being shy around girls or too clingy towards the girls that do show interest. my question is do i just forget the girls that i used to be friends with before i got too clingy and just move on, or do i show them that i can be confident and see if i can at least get their respect?

Keep them but use them to network and find new people to who you can show your confidence and "emotional detachment"
