I'm probably one of the elder guys on this site, so feel a bit uncomfortable here. Just about out of a LTR (few weeks it'll be officially over). Was a 'natural' in my 20s; in university for many years (PhD) and just always had quality collegiate girls in my life back then without much effort (eventually marrying in my late 20s a state-level beauty queen runner up). I'm hoping (?) to get that same effect again (I'm still in great physical shape: blue eyes decent looking 6'3" 240lbs 10% body fat highly educated 6 figure income etc) but now in completely new environment (off-campus and bit older). Hate to admit this, but didn't ask too many girls out when I was a single guy -- they asked me. I've read this violates the #1 PUA Rule: Always Be In Control. (I can tell you in my experience ALL those girls that ask or seek you out -- even if hot -- ARE VERY CONTROLLING/ AGRESSIVE/ EMOTIONAL types. So be aware of that if you're young and seeing that!) I want to pursue girls this time around -- ergo PUA Forum ...

QUESTION: By habit have been with same woman for a long time and I think my #1 issue will be guilt sleeping/gaming girls who I have no LTR intentions. That is a block right now. Any help with that Inner Game?

I've just recently got interested all this PUA (have a TON of material I've accumulated and am forging through it all) and read that "sometime PUA learning can initially mess up a natural's sucess rate" which kind of made me pause.

Anyways, hope to learn a lot from you guys and to contribute my "in-field research activity" reports here.

Here is a friendly counter-point to the postings I've read dissing reading/studying without also doing a lot of field work simultaneously. You might find your confidence go way up if you've studied for quite some time BEFORE hitting the field.

Regarding "theory" not the way to success without a lot of field work too: I think that's total crap! Why? Here's an example from military history. Napoleon Bonaparte and Frederick the Great are considered two of the most successful military commanders in history. BOTH BEGAN THEIR CAREERS AS BOOKWORMS. For nearly a decade for each, they just read all the military history they could. When they stepped on the battlefield they just knew what to do and began winning immediately. Anyone who's studied some specialized area for a long time and in depth will tell you that after a while all that material FROM MULTIPLE SOURCES just coalesces and becomes a part of your brain's thought process. "Understanding is just famaliarity" was one of my advisors favorite sayings regarding difficult to understand topics.

Just my two cents. I'll let you know how that approach goes for me over the next few months ....

Happy Hunting to you ALL
