I'm that asian guy who sits in the front row in class, you know the real nerdy one who's always reading a book.

When I first learned about PUA, I was pretty excited about it. Until I tried sarging in the field.

Learning pick up is like learning mixed martial arts. I learn the combos, practice it every day, and feel confident about it. But in a mma fight, anyone with less than ten years of martial arts experience will usually get floored, easy. Pick up is challenging like that, and that's why it's appealing for me.

I'm still an aspiring pick up artist, and I have lots to learn. This forum seems like a good place for getting tips. I will be writing field reports to keep track of my progress.

When I first tarted out by reading articles on other sites(swingcat's,thundercat's,RSD,articles by Mehow,Tyler D,etc.),I was fascinated with the revelations to the point that I didn't have time to sarge.

i know what you mean by going out in the field. I'm trying to do it like this: 1 day a week, 5 hours reading/practicing material + 5 hours in field sets.
