I a PHD student in Australia, Russian originally. I am 27, and visiting this cool forum to get more confidence with women. I have a sticking point i want to get past: i have hard times being myself with a girl a really like.

Hey, nice to meet you. Depending who ''you'' are, you may need to do some modifications to your behaviour around women. I'm not at all suggesting you be somebody else. BUT, say for example, you have low confidence, you may need to act as if you dont. ESPECIALLY around women, they can sense low self-esteem.

I act INCREDIBLY cocky around women, but I'm always half joking. I'm still myself, just showing a different side of me. You may need to do that in order to get past your sticking point.

In order to be comfurtable around women you need to make sure you're COMPLETELY comfurtable in your own skin. That might be a good place to start. Is there anything about yourself that you don't like? What would be the best way to fix that? Then put in the work to change it. It's a long process but once you know exactly who you are and are very comfurtable with yourself, women will sense it.
