Hi, I am 28 from the UK and have got into this game after the end of a very long relationship. After the relationship ended I went for nearly a year without any action.

My biggest problem was/is approach anxiety. I just found it easier to not approach then to go through the painful fear and rejection, then I stumbled accross "The Game" and although it didn't teach me much it really inspired me. I have also just finished reading the book by Richard La Ruina which I found very helpful.

The funniest thing is that I can go back to several interactions during the past year and I now know the probably reason why I failed. I met an Australian chick and when she first met me she was very interested but withing maybe 10 minutes I had blown it. There were no negs, I interviewed her, I peked her, I gave bad social proof and no scarcity (when my friends went to dance and asked me if I wanted to go I said "No I want to stay here").

Anyway sorry for the ramble, my point is that I endeavoured over the past two weeks to make 10 approaches. Last night I made three approached completing the 10. I have got some long coversations and some definite IOI's but I have not had the confidence yet to follow through with a number close or anything like that but I didn't get one negative response or blow out. Most of them were very friendly and it has given me a real boost. My next mission is a number close.
