I’m in Charlottesville for the summer, live in DC, am 28, and stumbled across the community while Google searching something about being better with women.

I haven’t even gone out yet, and was considering just waiting to write my introduction until after my first sarge, but decided this could be beneficial to at least get my thoughts out prior to going into this.

Anyway, I’ve always had the same group of friends that we have small get-togethers with and have always disliked big parties (more like feared them, in hindsight). My tastes have now changed, find this lifestyle boring, desire to be a social person, and meet many people and women.

My goals that I am looking to achieve are simple: to have fun, socialize, and talk to beautiful women without fear (seems so far off right now).

I’ve gotten a few openers memorized and ready for several types of groups and am planning on doing the Newbie Mission (posted in a "Newbie Questions" sticky) in the next couple of days.

Also, let me know if you're in the Charlottesville, or Richmond (I'd be willing to drive), area and would like to go out.
