hi, my name is Artist. I am 24 years old and my high score is 7. I consider myself fairly good looking, and i am not scared to approach women but i want to take my game to the next level. I watched "The Pick Up Artist" season 1 and 2 on VH1 and it really peaked my interest in the system. After that i listened to the audio series "PUA Training" by Ben Larry, and i am currently reading "The Game" by Neil Strauss. I am at the stage in my training where i am ready to develope my avatar, and begin work in the field. Im stoked to be a part of this online community and i cant wait to work with you and soak up your knowlege.

Your taking the right approach, altho I would leave our "the game"

I got bout 90 pages in and realised its just a nice story. It tells u who the big players are and is good reference point for trying to learn the industry.

Realistically u want to be reading books on NLP, Personal Development, Body Language, Cold Reading,.. etc.

These are the "fields of study" rather than books like "the game", "mystery method" etc which are just ones guys interpretation of the game.

You need to build and define ur avatar like u say, urself. Dont take too much influence from the story / method type books and go more directly into the education type books.

There are so many, I would first of all really hit books like. Introducing NLP and The Definative book of body language.

These are intended to open up the subjects to you, they will teach enough material to use in field.

I think every mans journey is different, but deffinatly start learning subjects of the game over peoples methods, techniques and "systems"

All these systems have been built using NLP, Body Language, Vocal Toning, Social Dynamics etc.... They have taken pieces of each and built a routine that fits a generalised audience.

If u master the components used to make these systems, u can then start to build ur own... come on who wants to be a clone of Mystery or Style?

Think Id prefer to be Zikki and build my own mPUA inside myself, not transfer sum1 elses ideas into my head lol

yeah u know, lol... I dont like it, I did same thing with some of mystery's material lol.

I dunno why but unless its a topic specific book I really just pick holes in it, dont like these massive solution books and packs etc... but well thats where the revenue etc is so fuck it...

What books u pick up in the end?

i picked up "Allan Pease-body language", "how to get the truth out of anyone", "how to read body languae", "masters of body language", "non verbal communication", "reading body language for seduction", "body language secrets for power and love", "how to read the body language of women", a bunch of nlp books by bandler, grinder, erickson, and la tourette and a book on cold reading called "the art and science of cold reading". i just finished this last book and posted a palm reading routine i put together in the "routines" thread. check it out when you get a chance and let me know what you think.
