Hey all, im new to the community and really appreciating all the insite on the art of pick up.

Until now all i have relied on was being myself(Natural game?) and i did pretty good for a average looking short guy. However, after 3 years of being in a relationship, thinking it would be my last, i have completely lost whatever suave i once relied on.

There was a period of time between the break up and me getting over her in which i was completely useless, it was like learning to walk all over again except this time i had no guidance or motivation. However, after months of struggle i have managed to move foreward and have been feeling great for a while now.

I have re introduced myself to the game and i can feel it comming back. My confidence is back where it used to be, i laugh alot more and women react completly different to me now they did when i was "attempting" to move on. Its brilliant! Now that i have "got back on the horse(game)" id love to maximise the effectiveness of that horse and feel lucky to have stumbled on this almost unspoken art.

The path i have chosen to begin with is Nlp and SS, i have looked into ross jeffries and other pioneers of theese techniques and feel that i could benefit tremendously from the social skills and human interpretational abilities harnested by these methods. Its kinna odd though since before reading into NLP and SS i would probably say that my game was more naturally geared towards MM since i was a class clown and performer for many years. I guess i like to go against the tide and do things the hard way like a jackass but what the hell can you do right?

I just wanted to ask you guys in all honesty how far your game has come along since begining SS and NLP is it underrated overrated? Under practiced or missunderstood? Am i wasting my time? I realise its not all about patterning, but the theory of cummunication really intrigues me. Any insight on where you guys began your joyrneys and which method you chose to venture into and why. What success have you had, do you regret trying any methods or strategies?

SS has its pros and cons like every other method. It is suggested that you look into everything, try everything, and put pieces of what works for YOU together to create you're own game

SS i'd say is very underrated in this generation of pick up, not many practice it and Jeffries doesnt have the best reputation out there--so lets face it, it's a dying art :(. However, it does work but it takes a deep understanding and a strong commitment for it too work.

Best of luck.

Thanks alot, ill definately look into it and appreciate the input. Are there any other artists out there with perhaps less of a bad rep in SS or is it the art its self that is frowned on. Also, is there a book you could recomend to start off with.
