I just want to say hello and that I have joined the PUA forum for the right reasons......that's it.

What is that supposed to mean? Is there a wrong reason to be in PUA?

If you mean that you want to be able to find the woman of your dreams and show her the time of her life then ride off into the sunset, then you have some skewed preconceptions about right and wrong.

In many ways, the man who goes into learning this stuff in order to sleep with as many attractive women as possible is more 'right' than the one who looks for that special girl. We are evolutionarily designed to be promiscuous and spread our seed as much as possible to perpetuate our species. This weeds out the weak and allows survival of the fittest to come into effect by producing offspring that are genetically better adapted to the world.

Obviously we live in a monogamous society that goes against Darwinistic nature. I just want to make sure you are not up on some high horse thinking that by being this 'noble guy' you are better than those players out there that are acting true to their nature. PUA is about improving one's self and allowing women to become more invested in you. It is a way of showing her that you are indeed the most adapted and there is no right or wrong way to go about it.

I suppose I should have been more specific about what I meant. When I say the "right" reasons I am referring to what you were heading towards at the end of your post. Joining this forum/society is about wanting to improve yourself and allowing women to become more invested in you.

While reading The Game I really wanted to burn the book about halfway through when it started talking about how some people would use hypnosis to get a woman, robbing the free will and turning them into nothing more than a puppet; that disgusts me. That is NOT what PUA is supposed to be about. I continued to read the book and am glad that I finished it. Style and Juggler really have their heads on straight, Respect.

As for the Darwinist ideals, I don't personally believe one way or another, however when people stop treating each other and women as human beings then I do have a problem. I am a firm believer in what Ross said "Leave her better than you found her"

THAT is what I am talking about as right reasons to clear up the ambiguity.
